Driver's window stuck in up position

The motor has apparently died on the driver's window of my 99 Avalon. I've tried powering it from the battery with no luck. How do I get the window down so that I can detach it from the regulator. It looks like the access holes are based on the window being down.

I solved my problem the easy way. I bought a combination regulator and motor from AM-Autoparts.com for $53.80 with no tax and no shipping charges. I pulled the door panel and connected the new part to the switch. I then tested it and the motor worked as it should. This proved that my problem was the orignial motor and/or regulator. Since I was able to replace both, I used a boltcutter to cut the cables attached to the regulator. I could then move the window freely so that I could remove the two bolts that held the window and remove the regulator and motor. Seems like a crude solution, but at the price, it was an easy decision. The whole job took about an hour.
