Horn problem.....

Replaced my raggedy leather sterring wheel today with a crisp vinyl one from a recycler. Scared as shit unplugging and replugging the airbag. Know how the bomb team feels now.

Anyway now my horn has some problems. It intermittent. If I hold down one side of the airbag and hit the wheel with my free hand the horn sounds. Other times I can't get it to go off at all. Sometimes it behaves completely normal.

I need to get back in there and mess around to figure this out.

Anyone got a wiring diagram? Or is it simply machanical by making contact from one side of the airbag to the other?

The only wires I see inside the wheel are the cruise and airbag wires........

Any help appreciated...........
