Question Help: How to replace dome light bulb for avalon

Hello All,

I have an Avalon (98). My dome light bulb went out, but I not sure how to get to the bulb to replace it. I tried but it felt like I was about to break the plastic cover so I decided to get help. I know how to get to the bulb on a Camry, but the Avalon looks a bit more difficult. If anyone has done it or know how to do it for the Avalon, please help.

Thanks

Gen1 dome light

You have to get a small flat head screw driver and on the side away from the switch for your dome, there is a slot the you stick your screw driver in. with a little effort just wiggle the screw driver back and for and you will be able to pop it out gently/.

Yeah I've actually done this before. It's a lot easier than it looks. You just need a flathead screwdriver and you kind of pop the thing off. It comes off and then goes back on pretty easily. This was in a '98.
