Headlights/interior lights flickering

I have a 2000 Avalon XL I bought used about 6 months ago. Dealer checked TSB's at my last oil change (57K miles) nothing showed up. I've only noticed this since it's gotten colder out. Never noticed in Spring (when I bought it) or the summer, just this winter. Seems to stop once the car has warmed up. Dome light, dash lights, headlights, etc. all pulsate. Of course it wouldn't do it at the dealer, when it was warm. It's not affected by engine revs and it happens with headlights set to auto or on. Reading lights flicker even with headlights off. I read somewhere else that maybe the automatic headlight circuit was at fault. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas what's causing it?

TIA

try cleaning your grounding points. and a grounding kit (store bought or self made) can help as well

I would reccomend checking all ground points, and connections in general as well. Something like this has to be a crappy cable or ground somewhere. Check the main cables going to the battery and all connection points.

You could also check if each light bulb is starting to go. But that would be cumbersome.

Seriously, checking the grounding is the most logical, and easiest, step. Flickering lights at cold (winter) indicates electrical--possibly a loose connection, bad ground or weak battery.

I have the same problem, but I'm almost sure its my battery. The amount of things I have to running and also the fact that it's kinda old.
