Can you switch seat backs?
Can you switch the passenger side seat back on an Avalon with the driver's side seat back?
I know the seat bottoms themselves are not interchangeable, but can the seat backs by themselves be unbolted and reattached to the opposite side seat bottom?
On my car, the driver's side seat, even with the lumbar retracted, is killing my back after sitting in it for about 30 minutes. The passenger side seems fine. I'd like to trade them out, but can't figure how to do it by looking at them. The dealer tells me he has to research it to know for sure. So I'm waiting on an answer from him right now and decided to ask on the forum if anyone happens to know for sure.
