Park Pilot question

Is there anyone out there that has what is called 'Park Pilot'?
My invoice indicates that it is installed on my '05 Limited, but I haven't been able to figure it out. There is nothing in the Owners Handbook nor is there any lit. on it. My wife says she can hear a beeping when I put it in reverse with the garage door down, but I don't hear it. (I am tone deaf in higher freq.)
Also, there is a push button on the lower left dash that has the P.P. label, but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Any help?

Terra,
I know why I can't hear it. My wife does hear it when we are close to something, such as the garage door, and the gear selector is in reverse.
What is the button type of thing on the left side of the lower panel, just left of the steering column? It is just right of the trunk opener button. Is it an on/off button? A volume control or what?
I've looked through out the Owners handbook as well as the index for it, but I can't find any info regarding the system.
Is the black button in the right tail light part of the system?

Is it listed on the window sticker as an add on or a factory option? I asked if this feature was available from Toyota and was told it is only an aftermarket item. My Toyota dealer said it would be about $1,200 to install. I really liked the backup sensor feature but not at that price.

The black button on the lower panel next to the steering column is the glass break sensor for the alarm (page 3, owners manual). It does nothing except sit there and listen. The black button on the right rear tail light is the button to open the trunk but you have to have the smart key close to it and you must hold the button for a second before it pops open.

BTW, have you ever gotten in the car with both keys? I'm curious what would happend if the wife and I both had our keys and tried to open doors etc.

05,

Yes, it is a 'dealer installed' package that was listed on the invoice on the window. I assume it came from the factory with it installed. One that we wanted due to extra sound deadening, coating under neath and a sound suppressing windshield, plus some other stuff that was just fluff. The whole package was I think about 1500. but the papers are in the car and I can get them out if you are that interested.
As for the black buttons, our cars must be different. I have the glass breakage option, but no button. The lower left dash has, from left to right, the fuel door, the trunk, the rear window screen, and then the button that has 'Park assist' printed on it. The first three are flush rectangular black push buttons. The Park Assist button sticks out, is round, can be pushed in but does not stay in, Can be rotated but has no stops.
Th tail light button you are right. Apparently the button in the gloave box was in the wrong position and the rear button did not work until I depressed the one in the glove box. Now the rear button does open the trunk. Thanks for the info.
Yes, we've been to the car plenty of times when she and I both have our key. Can't tell any differnce in anything.
Thanks.

John, don't bother pulling out the papers. At this point I don't want to add anymore gadgets to an already complicated car for this ole fart. The only thing I still want to add is bronze window tint for the side windows before the real desert heat sets in.
