avalon chip upgrade

my father has a 2000 avalon and was wondering if he could get any small prefomance upgrades. i suggested a chip and K&N filter but i cannot find an computer upgrades other than the jet v-force but he wants some thing more plug and leave alone with out any displays.

I do not know anything about toyota i personaly own a volkswagen (87 scirocco) and know ther are many preforance chip upgrades for new vws and i am assuming there are the same things for toyotas.

Dont waste your money man. Toyotas ECU is alerady good. It will be just a waste of money for those chips. The only cars that it benifits are domestics and maybe forced induction cars.
For a small performance just get a drop in replacement K&N or a free flowing cat, maybe new spark plugs, or even just a tune up could add to the cars performance. If you are looking for a cheap performance gain, there is not really anything. Good luck.
