I need the following, and I need a really good price on it all: (all for 05 Avy Limited)
1. Replacement steering wheel (grey with light wood)
2. Replacement floor mats (grey)
3. Windshield
4. Deck lid spoiler. (black)
5. Replacement dash/console bezel (around the stereo/AC controls)
I dont know if you can get them, but if you can, I want the following as well:
1. Black badges (like on the Sport Camry's)
2. Blackouts for head and tail lights.
After a few minutes of research, I have good and not-so-good news to report.
Your prices for common maintenance items (oil filter, intake air filter, brake pads, fuel filter) are generally equal or lower than I have paid at either my local dealer or a discount mail order dealer in Texas.
Accessories, body parts, and cabin air filter, however, are all priced much higher than those other sources. The worst (or best, depending on one's point of view) examples are the rear bumper cover (your price is $100 higher than I paid at a local dealer in December) and rubber floor mats ($99 versus $74 from the Texas Dealer).
Shipping costs are similar so not a factor.
Your site is certainly woth a look for certain maintenance items.
Toyota PartzGuy,
Is there anyone making an aftermarket exhaust system for a 2005+ Avalon? I have searched everywhere and there doesn't seem to be anything available.
Sure, a person could have one fabricated, but that seldom turns out all that great. I think the perfect exhaust tone would simply be a bit lower than stock and not at all much louder.
Supposedly, TRD has no interest in producing anything for our cars. Bummer.
97 Avalon strut mounts approximately the same price as other online sources. However, struts are substantially higher priced than other sources... on the order of $40-50 per wheel higher.

Hey zwanger,
Our parts manager has stated that all of our parts are priced at wholesale or below. We are operating at cost and want to develop a strong customer base. I question the quality of the struts you found somewhere else. Our parts are Toyota OEM, meaning they are manufactured to the high standards Toyota owners expect. I have a suspicsion that the struts you found may be a cheap aftermarket peice or a re-manufactured peice off a salvaged vehicle.
I've had a different experience with this site. I have an 2007 limited, and I wanted to put the sport coils springs and struts from the Touring on my limited. The dealer wants over $900 for it (just the struts and springs with no other hardware of software)... although they don't show 2007 parts yet... the comparable 2006 parts would cost me just over $600 from this site... that is a $300 savings.
I don't want to argue about this... but the dealer said the struts and springs are different. Everything else is the same and you can re-use the other parts. They have different part numbers also.
It's not a matter of trust so much as it's the only thing I had to go on. I'm still contemplating changing over the the Touring suspension and haven't bought anything yet... so I value you input. Thanks.
