2000 Avalon Flywheel Cover

Hello all, I'm new to this site, I just replaced the tbelt on my dad's 2000 avalon, which involved removing the flywheel cover so I could shove a screwdriver into the hole to keep the engine from rotating while I was removing the crank bolt, however I had to bend the crap out of it to get it out because it bolts to the exhaust bracket, my question is, how in the blue hell do you get it back on without removing the exhaust, and if you do, how to you remove the exhaust? Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I can't help you. But others may know theres a trick which prevents the need to remove the flywheel cover. Put a breaker bar & socket on the crankshaft bolt. Then engage the starter moter for just bit. The bar will smack against something (hopefully the control arm) and you bolt will be loose. Search the forum for more hints. Try at your own risk.

Tightening the bolt w/o an air powered wrench is another issue though.
