inside lights stay on

This morning my wife went out and warmed the car up. When she went back outside the inside lights were still on. she then cut the car off. Came and got me, went back outside the lights still on, clicked it to lock it and the alarm came on (had to unlock it to stop it) any ideas on what is causing this? This a 2001 Avalon xls

My wife called from work & said everything was fine. It must have been cold or something, but what would cause this?

Could be a door switch sticking, check all 4 door switch.
