how do you remove driver side visor?

Well, my parent's 2001 Avalon developed a crack on the secondary visors rod.

Note this is the Homelink version.

The local Toyota dealer qouted my parents like $600 for a brand new one. After a couple minute search, I found one for $475 new at wholesale. Visors without Homelink are like $160 at wholesale.

I want to attempt removal to see if the main and secondary visors are two separate pieces.

Anyone got some tips...?

just pull it apart and see, worse comes to worse, you have to get a new one anyways right!

Well, I just don't want to break a 50¢ piece of the $160 visor...
