Starter removal

Looks like my starting problem may be the starter contacts. ( it does the same thing my T-100 used to do)
Anyone got any tips on removing and reinstalling the starter?
Looks pretty straight forward.

The starters on this engine are a ez. I think it took me less than an hour and everything can be done from above the engine. Remove the battery and tray so you have some room to work, then remove the mounting for the cruise control and push it out of the way. Disconnect the wiring, unbolt the starter. Reverse instructions to install.

I had new brushes put in my old one at a local electric shop, I think he charged me about 30 bucks.
