new battery

my lights have been flickering in my 2001 avy xl wit the JBL system, for a few months now and i know my car is in need of a new battery. i just had 2 subwoofers with a 1000w amp hooked up too.

my question is will this battery fit in my car?
Optima D35 Yellow Top battery 9.31 x 6.81 x 7.63

i need this battery or something similar cuz of the deep cycle and it will help my car audio system

Suggest installed a capacitor to dampen out the current load plus a higher output alternator.

Look for a higher output alternator,the amp is drawing too much current for the available supply.

New alternator maybe, but read the post down a few lines about flickering lights. Seems the a/f sensors come on simultaneously and draw too much current for the alternator and flicker city!!
