6 Speakers Removal

I have a 2000 Avalon XLS and I would like to replace my speakers but I can't figure out how to get the covers off. I would really like to do this myself but I have never done this before and don't know where to begin. I also need to know if there is anything tricky I need to know about replacing speakers. Thanks! Julie

The inner door skins will have to come completely off. There are screws and probably plastic panel clips holding it in. I have not taken mine out yet so i can not say for sure. If you have access to a multimeter, measure the factory speaker impedance if it is equipped with JBL. You want to match the replacements as close to the factory Ohm load as not to damage the amp, but also to get the most out of the amp.
