Left Rear toe adjuster frozen

I had my tires rotated and a 4 wheel alignment. I was told that the left rear toe adjuster is frozen. It measured at -0.25 degrees. The right is at 0.17 degrees.
Is this a big job to fix and what is involved?
Any help would be appreciated.

The tire place I brought it to does not do repairs but will do the alignment free of charge when fixed.

Look at the suspension under the left rear of car. There are two long rods coming from the center of the frame out to the rear axle carrier. The rear rod is adjustable in length by a turnbuckle type arrangement using threaded rods and a long nut.

The nut may be rusted to the treads. Use something like penetrating oil and or a torch to attempt to free it. There are lock nuts on each side of the turnbuckle nut as such make sure these are loose before attempting to rotate it. The rod is removable by taking out the bolts at each end if required.

If you take the rod apart make sure the length of exposed threads is the same on each end. Take a measurement of overall rod length to be able to reset after freeing the turnbuckle.

A few months after I had an alignment I started to notice a clunck sound over bumps. I first thought it was the struts since it has 91k miles. I crawled under the car to find one of the rear tie-rods loose (source of the clunck sound). I can not tighten or loosen it by hand. I could try putting heat to it, but I might just go back to Sear in Burlington MA and have them fix it.
