2001 Avalon car alarm goes off for no reason

Factory installed alarm. Going off sporadically - horn honking- get paged overhead at work to go and turn it off. Pulled out the fuse but now the horn won't work at all. Anyone have similar problem? Know how to permanently disconnect it forever? Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know. Does the setup have the glass breakage option, if so may be set to sensitive.

Thought the system had its own horn as such could disconnect on the alarm horn. The theft computer appears to be powered by the Dome and or door fuses.

Same thing here....

My 2002 Avalon is doing the same thing. Just started the monkey business you described about three weeks ago. I'm taking the vehicle in for regular maintenance very soon and will have it checked out. If I learn anything I'll post it here.
