GAUGES not working

Hi,
My 2001 Avalon XLS gauges are not working. The gas gauge, speedometer , and other guages in the car are " shut off" You can't tell how fast you're going and you can't tell how much gas you have in the car.

I have an aftermarket cd player, amp, subwoofer, and Optima yellowtop battery installed. I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

The last few weeks, my car won't start sometime, I press the remote to open the door and nothing happens. I put the key in the ignition and nothing happens, no sound what so ever. So I open the hood and move some wiring around the battery and restart the car and it starts up fine. This happens every couple of days and I would have to open the hood and move the wires around again. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the gauges not working but I just wanted to put this out there.

The dealership checked and said that all the fuses were good . I have no idea what is going on. Can someone please respond promptly. It would cost an arm and leg for the dealership to figure out what is wrong with the gauge.

thanks you

Nm I figure out the problem, Just disconnect the negative lead (black) on your battery and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then put it back in and it should work again
