2nd Generation Factory 2001 Avalon Spoiler Brakelight

Just had a 2001 factory spoiler w/ breaklight installed by local bodyshop and the rear deck 3rd brake light disconected and the spoiler brakelight connected. Now I have the dash light brake light out indacator light is now on.

in my 00 with factory spoiler, the rear deck brakelight is also there and connected, so i'm not sure why you would want to disconnect it.

you need to change the lamp failure sensor to the correct one with the spoiler, the third brake light has a different electrical signature than the leds on the spoiler. It is located in trunk on passanger side behind carpet. if i remember right the one with the third brake light is white and you will need to get the blue one. yes it is still available.
