01 avalon losing brake fluid but where ?

Hello
My dads 01 has a slight leak as he has been topping up the mstr cyl about every two weeks and he is a daily driver being in real estate
He now has a pulsation in his front brkes aswell
I do not think air was introduced ino th system by way of it getting too low as he assured me it didnt go empty or even close but he tells me he has never seen a leak in his driveway (not a drop)
So it must be a leak under load but i cannot locate it after looking for residue
Has anyone any info or same experience ever

Please help

Jay

check the booster, it may be leaking out the rear seal of the master.

You will actually have to separate the master from the booster, only two nuts. If it has leaked there both will need to be replaced. When replacing both the master and booster you also will need to be very careful that the rod between them is adjusted to the correct lenght, to short and brakes won't activate, to long and they will lock up without hitting the pedal.

so can seperate the boster and mstr without causing more work if not needed
Like bleeding etc... Your saying that the fluid will be hiding in the booster itself and will have damaged it aswell

Right, you can separate the two without causing any additional work. Just make sure the rod stays in place and no lines are kinked when you move the master. It should be completly dry if all is right
