Air bag light 0n 2002 Avalon

The air bag light on my 2002 Avalon with 82,000 miles stays on. I hate to pay the $80/hr for the service folks to tell me there is a dirty connection keeping it on. Anyone know of this problem and the fix?

Without the codes it will be difficult to tell what is wrong with the system.

make sure there is nothing heavy on the airbag sensor or in the area. If you ride around picking up fat bitches, you may have a problem

What that really necessary? You must know the OP pretty well to say that.

Broken suspension don't usually cause airbag light to come on; but it was an interesting thought though.
