2nd Generation Drivers window - does not roll down 100%

2000 Avalon. Driver's side window (LF) does not roll down 100%
Stays up by say 1/4" -1/3". I can manually push it down all the way.
I'm guessing the widow regulator is sticking just a little, or maybe slides sticking??
Anyone with experience with sticky power windows with directions/advice ...or should I just ignore it?

Should probably take the door panel off and take a look inside. It is hard to say what is causing your problem but it could also be a sign of maybe something failing or a wiring harness got in the way.

Welcome to the club. My 2002 was diagnosed with a bad motor, and a new one was $100+ to replace it. Since I almost always drive with my windows up anyway I said screw it. I use my window so rarely it just isn't worth the time and expense to fix it. Anyway, if it's your motor the repair won't be cheap....

that sounds right. the regulator or the motor. the glass could not be in the channel the whole way either. mine makes noise like the glass is loose. I havent looked at it yet, but maybe the channel for the glass is missing a bolt or off a bit. take the panel off and look a bit closer
