Bank1,Sensor1- Location?

I have a 2000 Avalon XLS with CEL code of P1130, P1135, Bank1 Sensor1. I believe that this sensor is against the firewall. Have seen an illustration of the location but, cannot see it on my engine. Do I need to remove some pieces to get to this sensor? If so, which pieces?

Thanks!

Mel

csaxon - you have provided schematics for me as well as many others on this forum, and I'm really grateful.
Where is that text available? I'd really like to get one for my daughter's Rav4.
Thank you.

csaxon,
Yes, thank you very much for the illustrations. A picture is worth a thousand words! Although, I wrestled with this for a few days, we finally got it out. Finding the location of this Bank1, Sensor1, O2 sensor was one thing but, the worst was trying to break it loose!!! After messing up the head of the 02 sensor, I ended up having a friend who has a service station help out. It finally has been replaced, the code has been cleared and life can go on!

Thanks again!

Mel

Are these illustrations available on line? These are great! Thank you.
