Mainiflod Absolute Pressure Sensor...P0107

Hi All

Just got this code from my wife's car P0107. I checked it out and it is MAP sensor bank 1 lean. Where is it? Please help.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

MAP? I don't believe the Avalon has a MAP, a MAF maybe? The MAF is the one that is mounted on top of the air cleaner housing. And what is P0107? Don't believe there is such a code either, P0171, which is a lean fuel system code?

P0107...

Just to sure... I went outside to check it and it's P0107. I have 2000 XLS Avalon (wife's). I also went to the web and type P0107 and it came back with Manifold Absolute pressure/barometric something... sensor. I understand there is a Mass Air Flow (MAF).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

How do you check the code? P0107 is definitely not a code that Toyota use.

Does the car stumble at idle or have a dead spot when you hit the gas? Are you using a K+N oiled filter?

P0107 is a code (MAP/Barometric Pressure Circuit LOw Input) but does not pertain to any U.S. spec Toyota vehicle if its the P0171 then you need to replace the air fuel meter part#22204-07010.
