2020 Avalon, we are really into the future now! How many vehicles are you working on? You also had one for a 2004 Sienna.

Most of the Toyota vehicle has thread holes on the rotors to facilitate the removal if they became stuck to the hubs after the calipers had been removed. The threads size should be 8 x 1.25. In the event that your Avalon is one of those that does not have the threaded holes, a rubber mallet or brass hammer to the edges of the rotors may help, of course put a lug nut or two on to keep the rotors from falling off.

My '02 demanded the same treatment. Couple bolts into those wholes as NEO stated, slowly turn and the rotors slide right off the hub.
Sand that area well and use some anti-sieze when putting them back on. Different lube than the caliper pins and ways, though. Those parts need a hitemp brake caliper pin lube -SilGlyde,etc.
