Thanks Traildust,

I used the info from the link to determine that I have an ABS error code of 53. When I plugged this into the code description page, it said unknown code. Can anybody out there help me with this?

Thanks

AutoZone will read and clear your code for free. I'd have them clear it and see if it comes back, how long till it reappears, etc...
then adress the repair.

Are you checking ABS codes or Engine codes, they are completely different. Unless you are using a Toyota scan tool the aftermarket scan tools may not do both.

ABS code 53 is 'Master Cylinder Pressure Sensor Circuit'.
