2002 Avalon Front End Rattle

I have a rattling sound that sounds like it is coming from the passenger side inner fender. I can hear from the inside of the car while driving especially when I hit a bump, it almost sounds like a loose shock/strut, but I checked and appears that everything is intact. any suggestions?

Thanks

Upper strut mount will cause noise like a rattle can when you hit a bump.

It is a common problem on any car w/struts for the mounts to start to seperate between 100k - 150k on the front and 200k - 250k on the rear depending on driving habits. However, you can't just take it in and have the struts changed because they normally don't change the mounts(bearings). I have also noticed a big difference in other cars when I also changed the coil springs. Now I change everything when my struts start to go bad.
