Does factory head unit have inputs for MP3 player?

I know my 2000 Tundra did NOT have any inputs for auxillary plugs. But later models did. Does the factory 6 disc changer in the 2000 Avalon have any auxillary inputs around back?

I have a 2002 Avalon XLS and just finished installing my XM radio and I don't remember seeing an aux input in the back. Right next to the bigger antenna input it did have a much smaller female input that had what looked to be a smaller version of the antenna male connector plugged into it. I'm not sure what that went to or anything else about it.

That radio was no fun to take out. The 2 connectors that plug into the back of the tempature control unit have such little give that I almost broke my hand getting back there to unplug & plug it.

Good luck,

Joe

Joe... your XM sat installation sounds like a inexpensive solution to my current plan. I was going to install a complete system with nav/bluetooth/ipod connectivity etc. Which XM sat receiver did you use and could you send me a picture of your installation? thanks in advance

There is a company called USASPEC that makes aftermarket ipod/aux adapters, we use them at our dealer. Check out the link below:
