2001 Avy shifting

Recently bought a 2001 Avalon XLE. Really like it. One question, my 99 Camry CE has a 4 speed Auto trans that shifts 4 times, presumably into OD for the 5th gear. The Avy is supposed to have a 4 speed trans and it shifts 3 times, but is presumably in its highest gear, since if I turn off the OD it drops back in speed and up in revs. What should the rev range be in the highest gear? '01 Avalon and '99 both used A541E transaxle, so the operation should be pretty much the same. There isn't really any spec for the rev range from Toyota.
