00 Avalon Cat Converter Code
Just had my 00 Avalon check engine light diagnosed as a P0420..........cat converter possible. I have not taken to mechanic yet b/c the car is running fine with no problems and light appears to have reset itself b/c autozone would not reset.
My fuel door hinge is broken and the door sticks out, could this cause this light to come on? I have heard to check the gas cap if you get this code or are there any other ideas of what could cause the problem instead of a cat convert? ANy help is appreciated, thanks.
