Rear Brake Pad question

It time to replace the rear pads on my 00 xls. Anything to watch out for or is it a straight forward process? Thanks in advance.

Make sure you purchase the brake hardware kit and replace them when you do the pads, its like $15 from Autozone for the pieces.

Also, make sure you do not let the wheel rest on the dust back plate. It may cause the weak stamped metal to bed into the rotor and cause noise down the road.

I also coat the back of my pads with brake quiet gel just for good measure. Might also want to think about caliper pin lubrication and new rubber seals if they are original/cracked/and or missing.
