Dash Guages and Clock, Temp etc stopped working

The clamp on my battery terminal was a little loose, and sometimes when I went to start the car, everything would go dead, and I had to go to the battery and just wiggle the connector a little, and everything would work again. I would just have to reset the clock, etc.
I got a little lazy and didn't tighten it up properly.

Today it happened again, but this time, the digital dash (clock, temperature, etc), and the speedometer, gas gauge, temp guage, etc don't work. The digital guages don't even come on. The analog gauges don't work at all.
I check almost every fuse in the car and under the hood, and they all look good.
Does anyone know which fuse it is that controls it?
I am hoping that I didn't blow some computer system.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have a 2003 Avalon XLS.

I dont have the answer you're looking for.... but it's not going to be any fuses.

This same thing happened in my 2002 chevy cavalier after putting a new battery in it and I've been driving around without guages for over 6 months. I believe it is something called a "BCM" or body control module. But I cannot get anyone to confirm it.

I will keep checking back to see what you come up with and let you know if I come up with anything on my end.

Sorry for the bad news.

I dont think you hurt anything, go back and re-check all fuses, even the bigger ones with the little clear windows.

Problem solved.
Basically the car needs to be rebooted like a computer.
I disconnected the battery for a couple of minutes, and then reconnected, and the problem was solved.
Nothing to do with fuses.

Thanks for the tips anyway!
