is this the battery

The other day I noticed that my Avalon didn't start as smoothly as it normally does. The radio was also turned off. I never turn it off so this was strange.
Also all of the settings on the radio had been wiped out.
The clock, however, was fine and had the correct time.
The next day the car wouldn't start at all. It just made a clicking sound.
The lights came on however.
Today, it started but still not smoothly.
If it is the battery wouldn't the clock have been affected as well as the radio.
I've had no problems with the car until this.
Any ideas?

I'd bet the farm it's the battery. Buy a new one and install it, and your Avalon should fire right up.

Just wondering what kind of battery did you get? I am looking at the batteries and i am confused between getting a battery that has 650 CCA(cold crank amps) or 560 CCA. Also what is the difference between 650 CCA 560 CCA.

I personally would go with the 650, more cranking power at startup, especially good in cold weather situations.

^^What he said, but first check your owners manual for the minimum battery CCA that Toyota recommends for your car. Buy that or higher CCA.
