Unhappy EVAP error codes

Hi all, sorry for my poor english...

I have avalon 2000, xls, with 117.000 mil. about a 1000 miles ago i got it for the first time, 3 lights, chk eng, vsc, and vsc off. Took my car to the mech. i don't recall the exact numbers of the error, but all of them were pointing on EVAP issues. The first thing i did, i replaced a gas cap with the original one from the dealership, it didn't help, after that replaced the solinoid which located under the car near the gaz tank, didn't help either, there is 5 solinoids more in this car under the hood, checked them all, and they working fine. this 3 lights at first were coming after approximately 400-500 miles, now after reseting them (unplagged the battery) it goes on after 20-30 miles, i am driving in the city, putting 93 fuel, and turning the engine off when i pumping fuel. This lights are not reflected in any way on the car nor the driving. I am desperate, don't know what else to do and what can be the problem or how to fix it. All kind of suggestion will be very welcome.
Thanks in advance!

Get the code number and post back. Don't waste money before getting the diagnosis. You could buy a basic OBD-II code reader for what you wasted on guessing the problem. Get the codes.

0446 should be the evap canister under the car, above the rear axle, in front of the gas tank. I replaced mine, but there are plenty of resources to clean it out and repair the valves.

here is an article that I came across for the Sienna, but should be applicable for the Avalon, too. Very good pictures, and same general location.

There is 6 of them all together. One is under the car, next to the fuel tank, another 5 is under the hood, one of them is bellow little left near the radiator, another 4 are located under the plastic cover of the engine.
I tested them with my friend in a garagge with a simple device wich manually gives power to the solinoid instead of the main car copmputer, u can hear the solinoid "clicking", this is a good sign, but if it doesn't do anything it propbably dead, that's exactly what i did and that's the way i located the problem in my car....good luck, let me know if it helped
