Aftermarket Alarm System

Since I identified the blinking light issue on my wifes 2003 Avalon as alarm related, I contacted Toyota USA regarding original equipment on this vehicle. They advised me that my vehicle did not come equipped with an alarm system, so the installed unit must be either dealer installed or an aftermarket unit.
I would like to install a new system and am wondering if anyone here has any recommendations regarding aftermarket systems. I figure when I have the new system installed, the installer can remove the old system at the same time, thus eliminating the cost of diagnostics and getting the system that I want at the same time.
I would like to have a system with engine disable, if possible, and one that would also work with my existing remote door locks (and not have to have two fobs).
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John

Are Avalon's stolen that often? How easy is it to jack this model?

I'm not really sure, but since I had problems with the alarm that was already installed (see my thread on blinking lights), I wanted recommendations regarding replacement systems. I went ahead and had a Viper system installed and all works well now.
