2003 Av Center Console Disassem

2003 Avalon XLS.
Need to repair Seat Heater Switch. Therefore, I need to remove Heater/AC control in center console.
How is this panel removed from dash? Pulling from below (above ashtray) with small "L" bar is VERY tight. I'm afraid I'll break something if I pull any harder. Is some other sequence required first? Responses greatly appreciated.

Progress made but still need help (not bump)

I've found enough other postings to get to the point where I need to remove the top AC Vent to get at the top two 10mm screws. The Bottom console disassembly and bottom 10mm screws are removed. Previous postings indicated the top vent just pulls out. However, if I tug or pry any harder than I have been, I'm guaranteed to break it. or really booger up the bezel and/or dash. I understand the AC Vent has are 2 spring mounts (bottom) and 1 (center top). What's the secret handshake to get them loose without trashing the console/interior?
