3rd Generation

If its regular tint. Use windex. I think its the amonia that does the job, if Im not mistaken. When I got my tint done they told me Not to use Windex to clean the windows because of this. They told me they actually use it to take tint off. Just get it around the edges. Hope this helps.

+1 on the ammonia removal method. Google for that and the search will turn up any number of sites with instructions.

Post tinted window removal

I was stopped for speeding and had to remove tint from windows. I ended up getting a steam cleaner with a spout and it came off, but took a lot of work. I used a plastic scraper to get the film started, and to remove traces of glue. Steam cleaner came in handy for a lot of other things also. But I had to do all of my windows in the Avalon. Bummer.
