2nd Generation Is this possible? Help!

I have a 2001 Toyota Avalon XL. The middle information display isn't like a XLS. so is it possible to replace it with an XLS Multi-information display? Without rewiring? just unplug the old and then plug the new one?

And is possible to change the Heater/AC into Digital rather than the rotary dial?

And how can I add foglights into the factory foglight placement on the bumper? I don't know where the wires for the foglights. thanks!!!

Perhaps it would be best to find a donor car having all the items you want and be able to pull parts as you need them.

As to the XLS, the wiring may already be in place but can not state for sure.

Heater-The dial manually opens and closes the heater valve to control coolant flow through the heater core. This auto heater system has a different control valve controlled by maybe vacuum. The auto system also has a temperature pickup sensor in front of the radiator to allow display of outside temperature. There should be another inside the car.

Thus the heater control system is more then just remove and replace.

If you had access to the donor car you could compare notes.
