03 avalon fuel flling problem

i have a 03 avalon that takes forever to fill at the gas station because the pump keeps shutting off. there are no codes or check engine light on. any ideas on what this could be?

I moved your thread from the intro section to the Avalon section. If anybody can help, it's these guys.
I've experienced that problem a few times. But only a certain stations. I think the hose gun was just too sensitive.

Look at the fuel filler neck under the cap you'll see a small vent hole attached to a tube. . Follow the tube underneath the car to where it ends as a rubber hose. Disconnect the hose and blow through it with compressed air or run a hangar wire through it. Bugs and crud get in there sometimes and plug the vent.
