2nd Generation How long between timing belt changes?

I just bought a 2001 xl with 335.000 miles on it and looking through its records I see the last time the timming belt was replaced was at 265,000. Am I right that it would need changed at 355,000. Also none of the lights other than the LCD display work on my radio. Is there a bulb or a few that can be changed to get the radio to light? The light for the D in the gear selection display on the dash isn't working. Bulb? Thank You

Timing belt. Yes you should change it or at the very least check to see the condition of it, also, check/replace the oil seals (crankshaft, camshaft) Radio lights, could be a bulb. The D selector in the dash does use a bulb, to change it, though, you would have to remove the instrument cluster. If you can live without it, then I would not worry about it.

Before popping for a TB job, though, check the engine carefully for any sludge issues. 335k is a lot of mileage, and if no symptoms appear, perhaps get the oil service info and keep using that.
