02 avalon random power loss

I search the forum but could not find the answer to my questions. My wife has a 02 Avalon with 115K. The last couple weeks if I run over a medium sized bump in the road the car will loose power (not cut off) and the radio and speakers will make a flicker sound almost like unplugging a home stereo while it is still playing. When this happens the ABS light will flicker and I can feel the brakes almost give out for a couple seconds. I have checked all the fuses and they are fine. I have a new battery and alternator and stuff is fine. Also when it looses power my headlights and dashlights and everything shut off. It is almost like the car is rebooting itself (lack of a better term) but the engine does not cut off (just losses rpm's and the like.

Please help as I am not sure what this is.

It sounds like you need to tighten or clean your battery cable terminals.

How to

Put your hand on the negative terminal and follow the negative wire down behind the battery to where the wire is attached to the body frame. Wiggle that wire. If it is loose or corroded clean it with a wire brush and tighten it with a wrench.
