Aftermarket radio install for a 2001 avalon xls

Do these install kits exists? everywhere I go to try to find one doesn't havn't and one guy told me they just don't exists for the xls..if anyone could point me to some I would really appreciate it

the12volt.com is usually the place to look for such things. there may not be a kit... so you may have to solder it wire by wire.

I just purchased a kit from Crutchfield with the CD player, wire harness adapter and the bracket that holds both the CD player and the heater/AC control for my 2000 Avalon. You can buy the bracket for $20 and the wire harness adapter for $10 or get it all together with the kit. I had to grind down some unused tabs on the Avalon dash to get the bracket to fit properly and because it's made of plastic it tends to drop down ever so slightly from the combined weight of the CD player and heater/AC control, so the ash tray cover doesn't open smoothly, but I can live with that minor inconvenience.
