Hi,
I have Avalon 2001 xl. I get approx 200 miles from full to the second last mark of empty gas tank. I have changed oil, transmission oil, timing belt, air filter.
What's wrong ? Thanks

My 2000 XLS w/ 83k miles gets about 32 mpg hwy going 60mph...

24MPG Avg; 28-29MPH @ 80MPH highway; up to 32MPG @ 80MPH highway at 6000 ft elevation.

Is the check engine light on?, if it is, get whatever the problem is fixed.

What is your gas mileage ? Thanks

Did you check the timing after the timing belt change? Did you change the spark plugs or use the recommended spark plugs? NGKs? What are your driving habits? Have you checked your tires for air and wear? I get 21/22 for city and 27/28 for highway driving. My car has over 213,000 miles on it.

23mpg on a daily basis, 29mpg on the road recently.
Highest was 32mpg when almost new - on premium gas.
