I have just been told that my VSV valve needs replacing and it will cost 600+ Is this correct???????

There are lots of VSV's....none should cost $600 that I know. Is it the charcoal canister VSV? Part costs approx $65

Is the 600+ with labor? That's alot for just a VSV.
