2000 Avalon airbag light/door locks
hi, I have a 2000 XLS. Once or twice a year since around 2007, I will be driving on the highway, hear a click, notice that my doors have unlocked and the airbag light is on. After shutting off the engine and re-starting, everything is fine again for another 6 or so months and then it will happen again. The check engine light does not come on during any of this. Any ideas? Also, if airbags deploy, do the doors unlock? Seems like that would be a safety feature so a rescuer could enter the car after a wreck? thanks for any info. larry
