2001 Avalon Ignition Problem Help!
This morning I went out to my car and turn on the engine, the dash lights went on but not the car. I turn the key to the off position, the dash lights didn't turn off. I tried to turn the engine on again but nothing and the dash lights stays on. I turn the key to the off position, the dash lights stays on. I can shift the gears with the key in the off position. I can turn the key without any pressure. There used to be pressure when turning the key before but no more. What is wrong here? Does the ignition lock assembly need to replace or the ignition switch, or both? What is wrong? Thanks in advance for any answers.
