02 Avalon Timing Belt Kit Parts List

If this info is already posted, I could not find it so forgive me. I plan to have a good mechanic to replace my timing belt on my 02 Avalon XL 3.0 and the water pump, belts, gaskets, tensioner, pulleys, and pretty much everything associated with it. I prefer the job to be complete, since I plan to own it 'til' the wheels fall off. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Until you are better paid.

What help are you looking for? A good source to get parts, or something else. There have been many posts in a section called 2001 timing belt. There is a lot of information in there.

If you have any questions or need OEM parts, don't hesitate to give me a shout. I am in here just about everyday.

Good luck to you and see you in the forums.

Toyopartsman,
Thanks for the great advice. I used the section "2001 Timing Belt" to reference ordering my parts, plus printed the detailed instructions for reference for my mechanic to go with the Haynes manual. He may not need it, but I felt it was great info and sent him the link and he was impressed and plans to join this group.

Bobflood, thanks for the the tip. I did order those parts also after reading other members comments. I figured you guys know how to do it 'right". Twenty years ago I did all my work, but these days I don't have the stamina or brain power to keep up any more. My "Yota's" are much too important for me to screw-up. My 95 Tacoma only has 295k and it is just getting broke-in good. Still doesn't burn oil (3K oil changes) and only repair has been 3 fan belts and plug wires beside normal consumables (no H2O pump yet, either). (sorry for long post).

Well, I am certainly pleased that the information I and the others provided served you well. It is what I enjoy doing helping others.

I can say that I am a little disappointed that you didn't buy your parts from me . But the most important thing is that you got what you needed and hopefully your car is in tip top shape.

If you ever need anything, even if it is not parts related, don't hesitate to contact me. I am usually in the forums everyday, but you can always get a hold of through PM, email, call, whatever, Don't hesitate, I'm glad to help.

See you in the forums
