Noise from sunroof when closing drivers side door???

I just started noticing on my 2000 Avalon XLS a vibrating noise from the sunroof when I close my drivers side door. Any ideas on how to fix that? I have not noticed anything else funny about my sunroof and can prevent the noise if I put my hand on it from the inside to hold it steady.

I have the same thing!!! Its not from the sunroof but somewhere in between the sunroof and the interior slide thing. I just have not thought about looking into it when I have the time to do so.

I just purchased a 2001 Avalon and I'm having this same problem. If I push up on the closed sunroof cover, it doesn't rattle. Otherwise, I get a rattle or shudder that is very annoying. To my knowledge, the headliner hasn't been removed. Anyone else have or solve this problem?

Im not sure what its called. but if your close the sunroof and look towards the back of the sunroof, there is a water catcher thing(haha) its plastic. if your bend it down and let it go, it will produce the noise. the sound it cause but the mounting points on the side of it (its loose). I have not find a way to fix it. maybe someone has or have an idea?
