Brake pad recommendation

Here's a vote for Bendix CT-3 as a choice for replacement brake pad of value.
Wow.
Perfect fit when assembling. Quiet and very good grab when applied. Dust and longevity remain to be seen, and only time will tell.
I replaced front and rear, and resurfaced the rotors. Brembo, I think.
Huge improvement in stopping feel and distance from the Monroes.

pads

Thanks for the advice. I was wondering if you replaced the shims, and if they were included with the pads. I just got a 2009 Sienna with about 53K on it. I looked at the pads and they got a ways to go, but I was looking for a Lifetime Pad if one exists. Just read in Consumer Reports that if possible buying Lifetime warranty parts could save a bunch if you keep your wheels a long time.

I'm all for saving $$$, and have taken advantage of a a number of lifetime warranties over the years. But with front/rear proportioning and the basic life critical nature of brakes, I've gone to using OE pads exclusively. Online pricing like Gary Smith offers makes it an easier decision.

Just my practice and recommendation to others. Opinions may differ.

Brakes are critical to me also. Don't know what to say about the lifetime issue, but Bendix does give you a "one time " free replacement, including normal wear and tear, if you register the pads with them when you buy them. Two week grace period or something like that.
My travels bring a lot of city driving and it plays brake parts into a short and highly used existence. Two years is good for me. Rotors seem to provide one cut with no problems, but after that it seems replacement is a better approach.
Hope I answered your question.

I use the shims when I replace with OEM pads, but use the "built-ins" when using aftermarkets. Doesn't seem to show any difference in NVH.
Braking distance/feel/dust/longevity are different though. Hawks with great grab once warmed, and Akebonos are excellent. OEM are good too, and now more price advantageous as stated above.
I got these Bendix on a sale and I'm really pleased. Comparable to the best pads I've used in stopping power and quiet.
Nothing wrong with going stock OEM if that's your choice.
