If not, any other ideas as far as the best bang for the buck?

A single partial pan drain/refill is good. Repeat yearly with a quality ATF and save your money by avoiding the transmission shop or dealer. Problem with Aamco is that you're at the mercy of the incompetence of that shop. __________________ Preventive maintenance prevents mechanical problems. Ripe out your owners manual's maintenance schedule and start some common sense intervals for ALL fluids in your vehicle.
