Spark Plugs and tune up parts.

Hello Everyone,

I have an '03 XLS and need to get my car tuned up. This will be my first tune up on the car. Can anyone tell me which plugs are preferred in the Avalons whether Denso or the NGK's? I also need to know what other tune up parts I need for this car other then the plugs, air filter and PCV valve.

Also I have noticed that some spark plug brands have a regular and a better iridium plug. Is it worth going with the more expensive iridium?

Thanks for the help in advance.

What mileage do you have? Toyota uses both so it's up to you. Your plugs have a recommended change interval of 120,000 miles.

I currently have about 147K. That isn't bad, 120K. I have been feeling bad for a while about not tuning the car up in 2 years. Lol

THANKS!

maintenance

Timing belt is supposed to be done at 90,000.
I'd make sure that was done before the plugs, etc.
